Import and export a data field configuration

There might be situations where we want to reuse the settings for a particular data field, which requires us to export and import a data field configuartion.

To export a data field configuration

• Select a data field in the original task, and click Export Data Fields to save the configuration to a local disk. The data fields will be saved in a .oec (Octopus extract config) file.

To import a data field configuration

• Create an Extract data action in the another task and click Import Data Fields to 

Voila! You just saved yourself tons of work.
