Updated over 9 months ago

This feature is only available for Professional and above plan users.

Our new feature released in Octoparse 8.7.4 allows you to easily export data to popular cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Amazon S3, and Dropbox. This feature is perfect for users who want to backup their data or share it with others.

Step 1. Select one cloud storage option when exporting the data

Step 2: Fill in the required settings

Google Drive & Dropbox

  • Configuration name: input a name to save the settings for future use

  • Account: Add your cloud storage account to authorize the access to Octoparse

  • Select folder: Create a new folder in your storage

Note: Octoparse can only create new folders and access the folders it creates. It will not have access to other folders.

Amazon S3

Input the following information and you can get the key IDs from Amazon S3 Security Credentials tab.

  • Access key ID

  • Secret access key

  • Service area

  • Buket

Note: Octoparse cannot create a new bucket. You can search for the bucket name to access the ones you created in your storage.

Step 3: Define the format and name of the file

  • Export data as: Choose what format of file you want to export the data as

  • File naming settings: Choose how you want to name the exported file

  • When a file with the same name already exists: Choose how to deal with files with the same name

That's it! Confirm the settings and your data will now be exported to your chosen destination.
