Resolve login failed error

Resolving issues like "Failed to fetch account data" or "Login failed".

If you log in to Octoparse software but get an error message, this tutorial will help you resolve the login issues.

Error: Failed to fetch account data

  • Go to the Settings of login

  • Choose No proxy

  • Log into the account again


Error: Login failed. Please try again later / Failed to load account info. Close Octoparse and try again later. Disable your VPN if needed.

  1. If you are using a VPN, try turning it off and attempt to log in again. VPNs may interfere with network routing and cause login failures.

  2. If you are on a company or restricted network, you may need to configure a proxy to access the login server. Follow these steps:

  • Go to the Login Settings in Octoparse

  • Select Manual Proxy Configurations

  • Enter your proxy details

  • Confirm the settings and try logging in again
