How to clear historical data

Starting from Octoparse version 8.7.6, you can customize data fields when exporting data. However, if you have previously run a task before making changes to the data fields, you will need to clear the historical data to apply the new settings.

Steps to clear historical data

  1. Go to the Task List

  2. Click More

  3. Select View Data

  4. Choose either Local Data or Cloud Data, depending on where your data is stored

5. Click Clear Data to remove the existing records

After clearing the historical data, re-run the task to collect data with the updated fields.
