How to cancel the subscription/ free trial?

Subscription and Automatic Renewal

Octoparse uses a subscription-based billing model. By purchasing a plan or starting a 14-day free trial, you enroll in a subscription that will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) to ensure uninterrupted service.

To avoid being charged for the next cycle, please cancel at least one day before your renewal date.

After you cancel:

  • You will retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period.

  • You may still receive account-related emails about your remaining access.


How to Cancel Your Subscription

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the Octoparse website.

  2. Navigate to your User Center.

  3. Go to "Plan & Subscription".

  4. Click on "Cancel Subscription".

  5. Confirm your cancellation by clicking "Cancel Now".


Important Cancellation Notes

  • PayPal Users: Canceling the subscription directly in PayPal will not work. You must cancel through the Octoparse website as described above.

  • Confirmation Email: You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is successful. If you do not receive it, please contact us at support@octoparse.com.

  • Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues during cancellation (e.g., the cancel button is missing), please record a video of the problem. This evidence is crucial for us to process a refund should an unexpected charge occur.

  • Refund Policy: Please note that the fee for the first month after your 14-day trial ends is non-refundable. You can review our full refund policy here.
