The team collaboration feature is specifically created for Octoparse Enterprise Plan users to enhance internal cooperation for their scraping needs. It allows users within a team to collaborate and work together seamlessly. With the Enterprise Plan, one admin account can be set up, and multiple agent accounts can be invited to join, allowing for the sharing of all resources.
The admin account can manage tasks for all agent accounts, access and download task data and allocate resources. Agent account users can focus on task configuration, editing, and running. Each user has their own dashboard and can work together towards achieving their data scraping objectives.
It is important to note that while the admin account has access to all agent tasks, agent accounts are limited to their own tasks and cannot access admin-level data.
Additionally, the web-based console allows the admin account to monitor project progress from any location, without the need for desktop software. This provides convenience and flexibility for managing data projects.
To access the web console, simply log in to the Octoparse website using your Enterprise admin account.
Allocate resources
Navigate to the Team Collaboration section, where you will find all of your resources and agent accounts.
Edit the agent settings by clicking the gear button.
Note: the Enterprise agent seat may only be accessed through its username. The email address associated with an agent seat is intended solely for communication purposes.
Please reset the password for the agent's account to enable him/her to log in for the first time.
Note: If your admin account gets downgraded, the agent's account will fail to work and can no longer be logged in.
